Chainsaw carving event pieces are created under pressure of time. Furthermore, in front of large audiences. I take part in events all over the world. For example, in England, Scotland, Wales, Denmark, Germany and Canada, the USA and Australia.
I create my chainsaw carving event pieces from wood provided by the event organisers. I have often placed in the top three of participants. Importantly, this is because I can carve quickly and accurately. I have come third in Australia, second in Scotland, third in England, and first in Germany. I have often had the highest, or one of the highest auction bids for my chainsaw carving event piece.
Competitions to create chainsaw carving event pieces vary in length. This can be from four hours (Carve Carrbridge in Scotland) to four days (Australian Open, Melbourne, Australia).
