Project Description
This large bear and two cubs was sculpted with chainsaws from the stump of a much-loved Horse Chestnut tree in Timperley, Cheshire. It is about 8′ tall. The tree had to be removed because it was likely to cause a danger due to its size and age.
It is located at the front of a MENCAP Community Centre. There is significance in the pose and composition relevant to the location.
