Project Description

This horse’s head was an unusual request. The sculpture is based upon a sculpture which is about 30 feet tall. It is entitled ‘Still Waters’. It was sculpted by Nic Fiddian Green, and is on display at Marble Arch, London. This one was sculpted from an Oak tree. It is at the entrance to the driveway of two houses. It is in the Mobberley area of Cheshire. The horse is attached to the stump by two stainless steel rods. These give the impression the horse’s nose is just touching the base.
